Today we’re happy to announce the introduction of the ionCube24 API.
When using the security features of ionCube24 for protection against vulnerability exploits, an essential part of the workflow for a site update is to move the TrustPoint forward in time before making site changes. This ensures that files changed by the site updated are not suspected by ionCube24 to be the result of an attack and blocked.
Updating the TrustPoint can be performed easily from the ionCube24 interface, but using the new API, doing so can now be performed via a simple web request using cURL. This makes updating the TrustPoint automatable, and easily added to the start of any existing shell script for rolling out site changes.
The full ionCube24 User API can be found here.
